Biography

Doug has more than 40 years of tax, accounting, and business advisory experience, including a 33-year career at the international accounting firm KPMG LLP. While at KPMG, Doug lead a 35-person tax department in Fort Worth, Texas, specializing in private equity, hedge fund, fund of funds, oil and gas, and high net-worth individual clients.

Doug’s specialties include taxation of high wealth individuals and closely-held family businesses, family office activities, trust and estate Income taxation, IRS tax controversy resolution, and many other tax matters.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University.
