Due to natural disasters in most of California and parts of Georgia and Alabama, the IRS extended the tax filing and payment dates until October 15th. [IRS News Release] Eligible taxpayers are in localities listed in three IRS release cases CA-2023-02, GA-2023-01 and AL-2023-01.
The postponement includes most 2022 calendar-year business and individual returns and estimated tax payments.
